Electric And Concrete Work

When technicians were working on a stadium for a secondary school in my municipality, I was called to assist them move along smoothly. I got there after they had constructed concrete slabs all round the field. Their idea was to make something around the field that would enable spectators to sit without those in front obstructing those behind them. Everything had been done well, but I realised that the constructors did not have concrete sealing in mind. I explained to them why concrete sealing was necessary for that project. Because the structure was to be forever at the mercies of the weather, I made them understand that mere concrete would not face the ever-changing weather effectively. Concrete sealing would be its saviour. A concrete sealing company was later given a contract to finish the work. The spectators’ area now looks strong as ever, and I know it shall be so for years to come.

Because my family was growing I needed to upgrade our home from our current two bedroom flat to a house with at least three bedrooms and a nice garden for the kids. In order to sell my current flat I needed to get a Periodic inspection report done to check the electrical wiring as the previous report was older than five years.

A periodic inspection report is whereby an electrician comes around and inspects and tests the electrical wiring and fittings for any defects and degradation. Some of the tests involves checking the wiring insulation, continuity and earthing of the electrical installation of the house. Luckily all was in order.

Unfortunately the house we where buying was not up to scratch and had to get some work done to have it fit for purpose. Eventually it delayed the buying process with a month. We are now settled in our new home and the kids are enjoying the garden.
